Yesterday was a very sad day for me. When I want to update a plugin on this blog there was a bug that was making me frustrated. I tried to find out what happened with this blog, why every time I load always appear error message: fatal error define_option…home/xxx/wp-admin/admin.php line 22 bla bla .. bla … I’ve tried to upgrade or downgrade-version of wordpress but the error message still appears. Then I have deleted my database so I lost my blog.. oh… i feel my world is end.
So I think to take a tour for refreshing my head, I remember about Indonesia Java International Destination city Yogyakarta. I have sweet memories in this city.
Yogya is the beautiful city in Java, Yogyakarta was the centre of the Mataram Dynasty (1575-1640), and until now the kraton (the sultan’s palace) exists in its real functions. Also, Yogyakarta has numerous thousand-year-old temples as inheritances of the great ancient kingdoms, such as Borobudur temple established in the ninth century by the dynasty of Syailendra.
In year 1999 – 2000 i live in Yogyakarta. Yes in Sleman district. In Sleman we can fund the legend of Java that is Merapi Volcano, why i called merapi as the legend of Java? It because Merapi is the most active volcano in the world. In the Merapi feet there are a famous tourism object thats called Kaliurang. I remember that around merapi we can find the green rice fields cover the suburban areas with a background of the Merapi Mountain.
What about java cultural, as indonesia java international destination, Yogyakarta have much cultural. We can find traditional music of java thats called Gamelan. Gamelan is integrating voices of gong, kenong and other Javanese music instruments.
Wayang Kulit is Central Java pure culture. The Wayang Kulit performance art has been more than five centuries of age. Presenting the story of Ramayana and Mahabharata, this overnight performance serves the proper space to spend the night, reflect and understand Javanese life philosophy.
What about Borobudur Temple? Borobudur is the Biggest Buddhist Temple in the Ninth Century. Its located in Magelang City, Central Java. In Yogyakarta you can find more temple: Nirvana in Gampingan Temple,Candi Gebang (Gebang Temple)’Ijo Temple, Candi Mendut (Mendut Temple), Candi Pawon (Pawon Temple), Plaosan Temple, Prambanan, the Most Beautiful Hindu Temple in the World and Tara Temple, the Oldest Buddhism Inheritance in Yogyakarta.
